It’s not like employees are human beings with families, personal lives, and responsibilities outside of work. No, they’re just cogs in the corporate machine, existing solely to serve their overlords. 🤖
And let’s not forget about the gender aspect of this decision. Because clearly, women should have to choose between their careers and their children. Who needs equal opportunities and support for working mothers when you can just reduce maternity leave to a measly two weeks? 🤷♀️
I can just picture Elon Musk sitting in his ivory tower, stroking a hairless cat while cackling maniacally and dreaming up new ways to torture his employees. 💰💸
But hey, at least he’s rich, right? Money can buy happiness, after all. Just ask any of his overworked, underpaid employees who can’t take a proper maternity leave. 😒
In all seriousness though, this decision is not only absurd and inhumane, but it also goes against the progress made towards equal opportunities and work-life balance. Companies should be striving to support and accommodate their employees, not restrict and control them. 🙅♀️
So to Elon Musk, and anyone else who thinks reducing maternity leave to two weeks is a good idea: 🖕.
